Action Games on Xbox 360
If you’re thinking action games, chances are the first system that comes to mind is Xbox 360. Everything about the Xbox 360 says intense, from the dynamic gaming options to the graphic Xbox 360 controller faceplate options. Action-packed, award winning Xbox 360 games include Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, and Mass Effect. Gears of War 2 is an old-fashioned shooter complete with explosive weapons, vicious giant bugs, and intense action. Fallout 3 is more an RPG than a shooter game, but it certainly has an action twist with its first person combat. In Fallout you’ll brave the wastes of post apocalyptic Washington D.C., encountering mutants, gangs, and a few friendly survivors along the way.
These games are all available for Xbox 360, and you won’t find them on the Nintendo Wii. It’s the original Xbox 360 games that have pushed the system forward and allowed it to become regarded as one of the best by gamers everywhere.
One of the most anticipated games for the Xbox 360 is Mass Effect 2, which is due out in the first quarter of 2010. This second installment of the Mass Effect series promises to be just as epic as the first, and could be a real killer app for the Xbox 360 that pushes its software sales. Mass Effect 2 features the same main character, Commander Shepard, as the previous Mass Effect game, though thus far it’s not clear if the rest of the original cast will make appearances. Fans can only hope that Krogan badass Wrex makes at least one appearance, at least for a moment to cause a few explosions and deliver a suitable one-liner. While Mass Effect was one of the best Xbox 360 games, it was not without its faults, and most fans are hoping that the story from Mass Effect will have a deeper impact and more likeable characters in the second installment of the series.
While the first game was great, the plot suffered from holes and at times felt a little out of place. In addition, certain central characters didn’t seem to have a whole lot of impact on the story, and most weren’t all that memorable. While the characters and plot need improvement, there’s at least the certainty that the combat system will remain in tact or improve. I’m so excited for the game that I am going to look for Xbox 360 faceplates that are Mass Effect themed.
I am finding my creative side with Microsoft’s Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding games, players can rip, or transfer, their own music from CD’s of their choice onto their hard-drive and play custom music tracks during games that support that feature. not unlike a customize slide show. How cool is that? Also, without a game in the drive, the Xbox becomes a multimedia CD or WMA player. When I add a periodic pick of Xbox 360 faceplates, I have an unbeatable variety showcase.
I find there is never a chance of boredom with my gaming platform. Xbox 360 offers far richer pictures, more creative interaction, graphics to die for, some with details that even defined water droplets against pavement. You ask why Xbox 360 is my choice over the other consoles, it’s more advanced and offers more than the competition.
If you’re new to the gaming scene and find yourself with an Xbox 360 console, you might be a little lost about which games are best to purchase. After all, browsing the aisles for Xbox 360 video games can be more than a little overwhelming when you’re not familiar with any of the products. And while you can easily accessorize the aesthetics of your system with Xbox 360 controller faceplates, the software selection is an integral component of the overall gaming experience. As such, many novice gamers turn to reviews for their game purchasing choices.
And this can be a useful tool, but just be wary that one editor might have a preference for a certain type of game that you’re not interested so. So keep that in mind before purchasing. Having said that, the following games are consistently awarded extremely high ratings. Grand Theft Auto IV is always a fan favorite, as is Halo 3. Other games that are well received but typically receive slightly lower scores are: Resident Evil 5, Fallout 3, and Fable II.
The Xbox 360 continues to stand apart from its competitors with its custom gaming, graphics and accessories, but one of its trademarks in which I am most fond is the audio system. The video console has a theater-quality audio superiority, the best in video gaming. There are 64 simultaneous audio channels, 3D positional audio, and Dolby AC3 audio encoding. Dolby Digital is also supported. Microsoft further announces a set of 5.1 speakers will be featured soon. When applying all this with Xbox 360 controller skins you have a matchless combination– perfection both in sight and sound.
I try to inform my friends that the home without Xbox 360 is a home being short changed. And if you haven’t guessed it by now my preference, hands down, is Microsoft’s Xbox 360. It knocks the competitors, Sony and Nintendo, off the playing field with power and versatility. There will be other consoles in the future but until then, Xbox 360, in my point of view, is the way to go.

I’m just starting out on the new job. Well, I’m starting out as a secretary/gofer, kind of getting my feet in the door. Whatever the boss needs, he knows I will be there for him. Well, a gals got to start some place and jobs are hard to find these days. However, sometimes I feel like a floor mop–being shoved about every which way. So, when I get home, my Xbox 360 helps me unwind. It helps me regain myself-respect and confidence, so I can start reinvigorated the next day.
I have discovered that Xbox 360 skins help me keep my box safe, free of dust and harmful elements. Sure I’m an expert when it comes to taking care of other’s property and organisational needs. That’s why I prize Xbox 360 controller skins. They keep my CHERISHED Xbox 360 covered.
I am a snowboarder and I go for the supreme thrill of the sport. I have just found new games for my Xbox 360 that help transport me to similar levels of excitement, which have until now, only been found in the real sport. Take the game “Skate 2,” for instance. This game enables players to move objects: ramps, dumpsters, benches and rails, around the landscape. Thus allowing the gamer to interact with techniques in order to complete the diverse challenges. Also, there are realistic body contortions, tedious actions and series of tricks as the gamer crosses spot’s surfaces, then repeats the paths in order to reach the goal. That’s the joy of simulation– all this helps add authenticity to the game. It is the next best thing to being there. Therefore, I recently purchased “Shaun White,” “Stoked” and “Skate2,” to my library. Now I expect to experience thrills galore without having to leave my house. Life is GOOD! I can now go for the gusto and not worry about injuries or excessive traveling.
While the games transport me to the zone, I will make certain my box is well protected by keeping it covered with Xbox 360 Skins. Now I can spend weekends being transportont to white peaks, dips and sprays, oh the beauty of it all– Momma take the phone off the hook– I’ll be here for days.

I work hard these days–when I enter my castle, I leave the world outside. I get a chance to be me, no boss looking over my shoulder, no obtuse coworkers competing with my talents. My Xbox 360 helps me escape. And with a library of my favorite games, I can play golf, soccer or drive a fast car. There’s a wide range of entetainment to explore. This new year awaits; I will have an opportunity to explore the larger Xbox 360 library to even greater depths.
If you haven’t guessed it, I’ m from the United Kingdom, and at times I feel all by myself in this new country. Now don’t get me wrong. I have friends, but at times I get this feeling of nostalgia– and I’d like to visualize something that will remind me of England. That’s where Xbox 360 skins come in handy, not only am I reminded of home but my box stays clean, free of dents, scratches, slimy stuff or anything that would detract or harm my best friend or companion–my Xbox 360.
When it comes to choosing the right console, there are a lot of factors to consider. Often the best place to start with a console is the games. Each console has a host of different titles, and some have more titles in certain genres than others. For people who prefer to have more lighthearted play, the Wii might be the best option. The Wii has a whole lot of games designed for parties and fun, but is often criticized for its lack of serious titles. While serious titles don’t need to mean “Rated M”, the Wii is a console more for kids and adults than it is hardcore gamers. The PS3 is a console for people who want a Blu-Ray player, and for people who like shooters and sports games. The expensive price tag on the PS3 tends to turn off a lot of people to its charms. For a lot of people, it doesn’t make sense to spend $400 on a PS3, when a discount Xbox 360 costs about $250. And even if the console has a few scratches, you can easily cover them up with an Xbox 360 faceplate. The Xbox 360 shares several titles with the PS3, including a lot of the best titles for both consoles.
It’s best to look at the games first when choosing a console. Be sure to do some research online, and look for high ranked games in specific genres. Visit game rankings websites and view user and critic reviews.

Wow, it’s a new year. Each day I look forward to exploring a day I’ve never seen before. And like the change exhibited in life. I am a Xbox 360 enthusiast. I play the console every chance I get. However, like the transformation you expect a new year to bring. The player interaction found in the Xbox 360 has progressed as well. It is no longer a matter of sitting down and breezing through competitive game levels anymore; today console games have sophisticated artificial intelligence formerly found only in computer games, artificial intelligence which adapts game play to the specific player’s abilities thus making the game more stimulating. I welcome 2010 and I look forward to more occasions to interact with my Xbox 360.
In the past, I just let dents, scratches, and dust deface my console, but like the saying: you live and learn. A friend recently showed me his Xbox 360. He was dressing it with a new sports theme. I must tell you, his console looked brand new. Like he just took it out of the box. He then shared with me his secret. He keeps his precious console covered and protected with Xbox 360 skins. And from what he tells me, you get to choose your own style, color scheme, cover icon or sports figure. There is virtually no limit to what’s available to protect a console nowadays. I took his advice and with Xbox 360 faceplates, My Xbox 360 never looked better.
